Today we want to spotlight one of our clients, Emma, and celebrate how she took control of her health and transformed her life!
Like many, Emma didn’t lose confidence in her ability to perform movement overnight. Back injuries and 3 slipped discs resulted in problems throughout her 20s and into her 30s – paving the way for spinal fusion surgery and a long road to recovery.
During recovery, she found herself feeling unhappy with her body – lacking the strength and confidence to move and knew she needed to make a change to reclaim her life.
That’s where Precision One Coaching stepped in.
The Process That Worked
Emma re-gained her confidence in the strength of her body and the gym through the individualised support of Precision One Coaching. The foundations of her success were underpinned by these interventions:
Weekly 1-2-1 Strength Session with a Personal Trainer – ensuring appropriate exercise design and technique
2-3 Strength Training Sessions Per Week
Progressive Exercise Challenges – progressed gradually based on her individual requirements and tolerance
Emma wanted to feel the security of having a PT to oversee her movements during sessions; “Someone to watch my form and posture and make sure what I was doing was correct!”
Our coaching provided this; mapping out short-term milestones and helping her stay on track without feeling overwhelmed.
